Soulmates

I'm honestly not a big believer in the idea of soulmates because there are so many variable to consider. How do you know when you've met your soulmate? Because what if you met your soulmate and didn't know it and left them. Or even the other way around where you think you met your soulmate but you actually didn't. I personally think it's more of a fairy tale idea for people to believe in.
